Come and try it out! For adults with children over 6 years old and students under 26 who aren’t yet sure about their relationship to classical music, we offer discounted tickets for standing room in the second arcade of the castle courtyard (in 2023 obviously into the Festival Hall). Here, you can enjoy the entire program or only part of it – moreover, the second arcade is also privy to a fascinating view of the festival’s backstage area.

It’s possible to reserve standing room tickets (from CZK 50 to CZK 150) from 15th May by calling +420 461 612 575 or by email at recepce@smetanovalitomysl.cz. After the festival has begun, they’re also available at the information stand in the Festival Gardens. Capacity is limited. Guests should meet at the information stand in the Monastery Gardens 25 minutes before the performance. With Give Classical a Try, you can even visit Smetana’s Litomyšl performances without high heels or a bow tie, although you may find that donning elegant clothes also conjures up a festive mood.

With Classic on Trial you may visit all the performances held in the Festival Hall.
